White Primed MDF Rebated Dado 2435mm x 58mm x 18mm
Description
The Hare Dado rail is rebated for easy fitting. If you don’t want to replace your existing skirting, you can use an upturned dado rail on top of your existing skirting.
For stairs, always use an dado rail upside down on top of the stair string (stairs have a stair string instead of a proper skirting)
Note that this dado rail can also be used with 8-10mm tongue and groove boarding if you want a different style of panelling. We now sell T&G kits, available here
PLEASE NOTE THAT TO AVOID THE RISK OF SNAPPING IN TRANSIT, ORDERS WITH LONGER ITEMS MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 SKIRTING OR 4 OF OUR THINNER SECTIONS, OTHERWISE THEY WILL HAVE TO BE CUT INTO SHORTER LENGTHS. WE CUT SKIRTINGS AND DADO INTO 2x1220mm LENGTHS, JOINT AND END STRIPS INTO 3x810mm LENGTHS.

How deep is the rebate?
Hi Jennifer. The rebate in the dado rail is approximately 11mm x 9mm.
With the dado rail held against the wall horizontally, the 11mm rebate is from the wall horizontally outwards and the 9mm rebate is the vertical one, hope that makes sense.
